It is not so much the sacrifices I have made but rather the appreciation for sacrifice to live this life that Jesus made possible for me, which is what I strive to live for others. To live in sacrifice for generosity is to give and to serve others as you have been given, not looking for anything in return. Sacrificing for others-The act of love, is compassion, empathy, selflessness, choosing, giving. For God so loved the world that He gave His only son as a sacrifice for us all. True love is not verbal or physical, it is choosing and giving, sacrificing for others.
