I often have suffered from migraines and knee pains, and I would seek help. Likewise, when our bodies have elements break down and malfunction, we seek help. Right?
When external factors require adjustment, we readily seek help. But what about the internal aspects that also need fine-tuning? Shouldn’t we be just as proactive in seeking aid for our unkindness towards one another, our bad attitudes, our selfish tirades, and our me-first society?
Shouldn’t we seek aid for our unkindness towards one another, our bad attitudes, our selfish tirades, and our me-first society? Of course, we should, and we can!
As I have learned, this adjustment starts with the one in the mirror. This change only comes from a changed heart, not from a changed environment or social status. Jesus wants us all to have hearts like His so we can request this change from Him.
A heart transformed is a life transformed. It’s a way of living that embraces the love of God and radiates it to all.
In giving my whole heart to God, I’ve learned that God’s love is the power of it all! God is love, and love does not demand its own way. Love finds happiness in giving to others. It sacrifices for others through Jesus, offering Himself upon the cross in love to bring forgiveness and salvation to all.
A changed heart is power from the love of God.
