“Perfect Faithfulness”
“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what she has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.” ~Psalm 40:1-3
Like the author of this Psalm, David, I, too, have experienced the transformative power of God’s unwavering faithfulness. His love, despite my constant bending toward sin, and His promise of forgiveness, even when I broke my promise to Him, have changed my life.
God’s faithfulness, love, forgiveness, and acceptance are perfect! His love is absolute, and His promises are irrevocable!
And now, I take joy in doing His will, which includes sharing His love and the good news of His faithfulness with others. Through acts of kindness, sharing personal testimonies, or simply being a source of encouragement to those in need.
Remember, no matter where you find yourself today, you are never too far from God’s unfailing love and faithfulness. Believe and call out to Him, for He is always near.
