“Freedom Through The Spirit”

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom-freedom from the chains of sin, freedom from the fear of death, and freedom to live a life of love and purpose. ~ 2 Corinthians 3:16-17

When I turned my life to Christ, He removed that veil which was keeping me from living fully for Him-my pride, hardness of my heart, and refusal to repent from my sinful ways. This personal transformation, from a life bound by sin to one that is free through His Spirit, is a testament to the power of Christ’s love and grace.

When anyone turns to Him, the veil is taken away, leading them to God, eternal life, and Freedom from bondage. This freedom is not just a concept, but a tangible liberation from the shackles of sin, condemnation, and fear of death. It is a powerful empowerment that frees us from the shame, self-hatred, addictions, and dead-end pursuits that this world tempts us with.

By trusting in Christ, we are not just freed from sin, but we are also accepted as we are, loved completely, forgiven fully, and freed for eternity to live for Him. This profound acceptance, love, forgiveness, and freedom through Christ is a testament to our worth and value in His eyes.

“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.” (vs 18)

With the Freedom the Holy Spirit gives us, our false beliefs, doubts, and misconceptions fall away. In that, we will see how God wants us to live and better reflect Him to others.

The Spirit works progressively in us, showing us where we need to change, giving us the insight on how to change, and empowering us with His Spirit and love to do so.

“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” ~Romans 8:1-2
