“You Are Not Alone”
No one is immune to life’s struggles, not even those who follow Christ. The only difference is that as a follower of Christ, you are never in those struggles alone! I’ve experienced this in my own life, whether it was in personal, financial, or relational struggles, God was there with me in them.
It is in those times that my faith is tested the most, but we grow through tension, not from ease. The purpose is to become more like Him, which involves growing in character from within. From within a change of heart and mind does this happen. It is all from His Holy Spirit that I can see what He is trying to change in me.
For Him to work through me, He must first work in me. Now, in those same struggles, my perspective has changed: seeing life from God’s perspective, we all have hope in life’s circumstances through Christ Jesus.
Throughout his writings, the Apostle Paul frequently emphasized the transformative and redemptive power of trials and suffering in the lives of believers. He didn’t view hardships as something to be merely endured, but as opportunities for spiritual growth and a deeper reliance on God.
As I have learned through my walk with Christ, trials produce character and hope, and my spiritual wellness and maturity form the foundation for my growth and development in becoming who God intended me to be.
As Paul states in Romans 5:3-5, “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
God is not a man that He should lie, and He said in His word many times that, “I am with you, I will never leave you, I am for you.
As Jesus said in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that you may have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcoe the world.”
What God is constantly telling us is to trust in Him, knowing that He is always with us, that we are never alone. He is with us until the end of time. So, join with Him and live life from the victorious side.
