“Complete Joy!”
“I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” ~John 15:11
The joy that Jesus is speaking of, His true joy, is not fleeting. It transcends the ups and downs of life’s circumstances and challenges, offering a constant source of comfort and reassurance.
We obtain this joy from a consistent relationship with Jesus.
When we intertwine our lives with His, Jesus becomes our guide, helping us navigate adversity without succumbing to debilitating lows and manage prosperity without falling into deceptive highs.
This complete joy, a gift from Jesus, will keep us level-headed and balanced, regardless of how high or low our circumstances may be.
“And the peace of God, that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~Philippians 4:7
So, in that, I have complete Joy, and when I think about the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for me, my soul screams out, ‘Hallelujah!’
