Bible, Spirit, Life: Daily Words to Move You: “A New Day Has Dawned”

“A New Day Has Dawned”

“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” ~Acts 4:12

The disillusionment was that I thought my life was okay without living God’s way. But when God opened my eyes to see that we were not made to just live an okay life, a life away from Him. The fullness of living comes from the Creator of life. And there is no life without Him.

So He sent Jesus to show us the way to live in His fullness of life.

“For God gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him.”   ~John 3:16-18

To accept this open invitation requires no prerequisite, just that you believe in Him.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” ~John 14:6

Believe means more than just agreeing; it’s putting your trust and confidence in Jesus, knowing He alone can save you to live life the way God intended. It is placing Jesus in charge of every part of your life, both present and eternal. Both trusting in His words as reliable and relying on His power to change.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”  ~Philippians 4:13

Jesus makes us all acceptable to God. There is no other name or way.

“So rise and shine, for the light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!” ~Isaiah 60:1
