“Taste & See”
“Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness, let us exalt His name together! I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy, no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” ~Psalm 34:3-5
Many of the great blessings that God promises us require our active participation.
He will liberate us from fear, free us from shame, guard and defend us, show us His goodness, supply our every need, listen when we talk to Him, and redeem us, but we must be willing to do our part.
By trusting completely in Him, crying out to Him, taking refuge in His loving arms, having reverence for Him, being truthful with Him, turning from sin and evil, doing good and seeking peace, being humble, and ultimately serving Him.
Take the first steps toward getting to know God, and you will be filled with joy as you discover His goodness and kindness!
“Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him!” (vs.8)
