“This Is Why We Never Give Up!”

“We are pressed on every side by our troubles, but we are not crushed.
We are perplexed but not driven to despair.
We are hunted down but never abandoned by God.
We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.
Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”
~2 Corinthians 4:8-10
In these Bible verses, the Apostle Paul reminds us that through our struggles in life, we may think we are at the end of our rope, but with Jesus, we are never at the end of our hope!
Because Christ has won the victory over death, we can have eternal life and peace. All our trials, risks, humiliations, and sufferings are opportunities for Jesus to demonstrate His power and presence in and through us.
That is why we never give up!
“Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.
For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!”
(Vs.16-17)
We must realize that God cares deeply about our suffering, even when we don’t have tangible evidence of His work.
So don’t let your struggles diminish your faith or disillusion you.
Realize that God loves you more than you know; there is purpose in everything you go through, and find in your struggles in life opportunities for you to learn, to grow, and to draw closer to God.
